Les works at both the Troy and Sterling Heights locations. He obtained his Master of Arts degree from Siena Heights
University in 2008. Before coming to
Perspectives, he worked as a mental health specialist in an outpatient mental
health clinic in Wayne County. Les has a
passion to help people discover what is keeping them from living with a full
heart, to break free from self-destructive patterns and habits, and find new
ways of living and relating.
"I am convinced
that with God's help a broken relationship can be restored, a dysfunctional
family can be healthy, and shattered hope can be renewed. My role as a
counselor is to partner with God and my clients in facilitating change; to be a
guide on the path toward healing and growth."
Les is also an ordained minister and was in full-time
Christian ministry for 17 years . He has
a special interest in helping pastors with personal or professional issues that
may be keeping them from reaching their God-given potential. Les has been married 25 years and he and his
wife have two teenage sons.
