About the Speakers:

Cristina Broomfield is the Vice President of Perspectives Counseling Centers and maintains an active practice specializing in marriage and family issues with special interest in “getting real” in relationships.  Cristina’s clientele frequently comment on how her interventions “brought them back from being over the edge” and attribute her therapy as being invaluable in their lives.   Outside of the clinic Cristina leads an active life in the community serving as adjunct faculty to area college and is currently serving on the Troy City Council in her second term, with recent tenure as Mayor Pro-Tem of the City. Her content filled “how to” helps are definite “must haves” for everyone actively treating couples and families.

Harry Broomfield Ph.D. is the Executive Director of Perspectives Counseling Centers. With degrees in Theology, Counseling and Psychology, his vitae include experience as adjunct faculty in psychology and counseling programs at local colleges and universities. For many years Dr. Broomfield has maintained a large case load assisting individuals and couples with a wide range of life issues such as: depression, anxiety, marital, pre-marital, divorce prevention, parent/child problems, blended family issues, addiction, Michigan driver’s license evaluations, and DOT/SAP evaluations. Dr. Broomfield is known for his uncanny ability to integrate the theoretical with real life experiences, while always entertaining with delightful wit and humor.
