Cheryl received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Oakland University. She has worked for over 25 years. She helped develop and lead a parenting course for FIA. She has worked in administrative levels as part of the credentialing committee, quality improvement committee, PURC committee, and as an administrative assistant. She is a member of the Michigan Association of Professional Psychologists and the American Psychological Association. 

Within her community, she was a board member for Macomb Christian Schools. She operated for 5 years as chairman of the Education committee and 3 years as member of the management committee. She was also a board member which operated group homes for the developmentally disabled for 2 years. Cheryl worked in her church as a vacation Bible schoolteacher and teacher’s assistant for Sunday school.
