Specializations in codependency, crisis and trauma response,
and older adult issues. Skillfully addresses depression, anxiety, bi-polar
disorder, panic disorders, anger, conflict management, self-esteem, grief and
loss, and life development and transition issues. Elaine provides
Christian/Biblical counseling as requested, marital therapy, and group therapy

Elaine takes a practical “how to” approach in helping clients
reach their treatment goals. Practical tools and applications for real life
situations help facilitate good outcomes. The fruit of this approach is best
measured in the words of her own clients:
“You’ve helped me
tremendously get stronger, stand up for myself and set boundaries.” “I
appreciate all the help…you are quick to understand and evaluate a situation
and know what to say when I don’t.” “Thank
you for all your encouragement, support, and patience with me. I can take a
break from therapy because of all the wisdom, guidance, and resources you’ve
given me.” “I look forward to a life of strength and power. I will use what
I have learned for the rest of my life.” “I
want you to know how much you’ve helped me. I should have listened to you
sooner about recommendations that have been life changing.”
